Team Ontario came out on top again with a 7-3 win. Kars then had to play on Sunday at noon against the North River Gators to see who would play Team Ontario for the gold medal. Steve Beasley right, who has been the Huron Crime Stoppers co-ordinator since 2002, and Huron and Perth co-ordinator since 2005, hands the keys over to his replacement, Const. Shawn McFalls. The decision to "cost share" between the two counties was reached about 16 months ago. It meant a centralized office in Seaforth and the use of one police co-ordinator and one vehicle. Anyone interested in a Crime Stoppers presentation or in volunteering as a member of the board of directors can contact McFalls at 519-527-1385. (Bonnie Gropp photo)
