The Don and Pat Nolan family all
gathered together last Friday to
celebrate the wedding of daughter
Pam Nolan to Gary Slaght. The
wedding took place at St. Anne's
Church in St. Thomas at 7 p.m.
About 150 guests then enjoyed a
lovely reception at the Wharf in Port
Stanley. The classic black and white
decorations and colour scheme were
really lovely according to all
reports.
The Nolan boys Tim, Mike and
Mark were ushers.
Guests from the Walton area
included Anne and Gerry Ryan and

Returning from a week's vacation
in Port Elgin were Rick and Brenda
Konarski, Jason and LeeAnn
Konarski and Jenn Cook. They had a
beautiful cottage right on the beach
and the harbour. Some of them went
sailboating and the water was quite
rough and they had an exciting
dipping and rolling ride. Exploring
all the exciting places to see the flea
market, amphitheatre; golfing and
shops filled the time quite easily. It
was beautiful weather and a great
week's holiday.
Congratulations to Murray and
Olene Dennis who celebrated their
50th wedding anniversary on the
weekend. There were 65 friends,
family and neighbours on hand to
enjoy a barbecue prepared by the
relatives.
The party was held at the Dennis
farm and a great social evening
followed. Murray and Olene Dennis
had their children on hand for the
celebration, Steve, Peggy and John,
Natalie and Adrienne Wakabayashi,
Elaine and Steve, Kevin, Rachel
Grosvenor and Laura, Adam and
Dan Forbes.
