Huron East to hold official plan meeting

At 7:30 p.m. on July 18 Huron
East residents can bring their
comments about the proposed
changes to the official plan to
council in the council chambers in
Seaforth.
Anyone may attend the public
meeting and make a written or
verbal comment about the proposed
official plan amendment.
Once the amendment is approved,
an appeal might be dismissed by the
Ontario Municipal Board if the
appellant has not presented
objections at the public meeting, or
provided written materials to the
township prior to the passing of the
amendments.
Since the April 25 meeting text
changes in the Official Plan which
impact all lands within Huron East
include:
ARNOLD AMBROSE
BERTHOT
Arnold Ambrose Berthot passed
away in the Stettler Hospital,
Stettler, Alberta on Sunday, June 25,
2006 at the age of 84.
He is survived by his daughter
Sandra and her husband Gord
Johnston of Toronto, grandchildren
Andrea, Tanya, Eric and their
families, including five great-

line just north of Cranbrook), and
Part Lots 3 and 4, Conc. 17 (Walton
Road between Brussels and
Mcdonald Lines ) are being changed
from agricultural use to recreational
use.
Part Lot 10, Conc. 2 (Johnston
Line south of Jamestown Road) and
Part Lots 22, 23 and 24, Conc. 2 and
3 (an area bounded by Jamestown
Road, Molesworth Line, Browntown
Road and Mount Pleasant Line) are
being changed from agricultural
designations to extractive resources.
Part Lot 9, Conc. 11 and 12 (along
the Cranbrook Road west of Petrie
Line) is being changed from
agriculture to natural environment.
In Brussels Ward the proposed
plan changes an area of Elizabeth
Street between Flora and Catherine
Streets from community facility to
residential.
There are additional changes from
agriculture to natural. environment in
Tuckersmith Ward; changes from
agriculture to urban in McKillop
Ward, and a variety of changes in
Seaforth Ward.
