Agriculture Brussels Livestock report 1,668 head of cattle on offer at sales Total receipts for Brussels Livestock for the week ending July 7 were 1,668 head of cattle, 855 lambs and goats. On Tuesday the fed steers and heifers sold on a steady market. The choice steers and heifers sold $96 to $100 with sales to $104,75. Second cut sold $92 to $96. Cows sold on a fully steady market. On Thursday the veal sold $2 to $5 higher. The lambs sold $5 to $10 higher. The sheep sold $10 higher. On Friday calves and yearlings sold on a good active solid trade. There were 150 steers on offer. Thirteen steers consigned by Doug Shiell, Wingham, averaging 1,513 lbs. sold for an average of $97.41 with a blue belgium-x steer weigh- ing 1,475 lbs. selling to Dominion Meat Packers for $104.75. Twelve steers consigned by Jerryview Farms Ltd., Mildmay, averaging 1,490 lbs. sold for an average of $97.95 with sales to $100. Twelve steers consigned by Aaron F.
