PAGE 3. Thriller will raise hair... and funds Tickets are selling quickly as word spreads about the first annual theatre barbecue fundraiser for the Clinton Public Hospital on Saturday, July 9. Presented by the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation, the event will feature an exclusive private performance of Corpse!, the new witty, intriguing thriller on stage at Huron Country Playhouse, followed by a scrumptious country chicken barbeque and open bar on the grounds. Tickets are $50 each, and all proceeds will go towards the vital programs and services provided by Clinton Public Hospital. "This is a great opportunity to experience a first-rate afternoon of entertainment, while supporting an incredibly important cause," says Foundation chair John Bezaire. "Everyone will enjoy a top-notch production and meal, and share in the satisfaction of playing a leading role in the continued viability of healthcare in our region." Corpse! is a witty and energetic whodunit that's packed with plenty of thrills, surprises, tricks and suspense. The story follows a jealous brother's devious plan to steal his sibling's wealth and identity. However, the audience soon learns that even the most 'foolproof' plans do not always play precisely as they should, and when suspense finally reaches its dramatic climax, Corpse! transforms from a classic whodunit to an outrageous whodunit to whom! Tickets are available by calling the Clinton Public Hospital at 519-482- 3440, or visiting the Royal Bank in Clinton, Old Mill in Blyth, Heartland Community Credit Union in Clinton, Leslies In Bayfield, or Willy's Burger Stop in Clinton. "Tickets are selling fast, so don't delay — buy today," says Bezaire. "We need the support of the entire community to ensure the success of this ambitious fundraiser, and the long-term security of the Clinton Public Hospital!" 1111SLLII GS ON $4.00 THURSDAYS Drop into either of our offices any Thursday with your word classified (maximum 20 words) and pay only $4.00 + GST (paid in advance).
