were named as home to just a few.
For our community it meant
sitting outside is even better as you
try to name the plane flying above.
Thank you to the work crew at the
Aerodome.
The high school crew are now
ready Tor summer with formal
education done for another year. For
• some it was sad as they get ready to
hit the next stage of learning. For
others -it was exciting as summer
jobs and summer fun are now a
reality. Lots of newspaper coverage
lately has been aimed at students, the
lack of on-the-job training and the
real dangers of the work that they do.
So as their guardian angels, check to
he sure they are trained at the
dangerous jobs and insist that they
know the outcome of not knowing.
Their life could he at stake.

looking fellows prepare your
As I try to organize some thoughts
on Monday morning my nose and
eves tell me I'd rather be outside
where everything smells so good and
looks so very fresh. There's nothing
like a good rain to wash off the scuff
of the world and make everything
look new. It's pretty hard to beat the
surprises that Mother Nature offers
regularly.
The Armstrong Aerodome was a
busy spot over the weekend. The
airplane enthusiasts look forward to
this fly-in all year. One hundred and
seventy-five folks arrived at the
Armstrong estate over the weekend
to enjoy the Huron County
hospitality. With Leona and Leanne
in charge of feeding the gang the
guys can just concentrate on plane
talk.
The gusty winds did not deter the
fly-ins, it just meant that both
runways were available for the 35
planes that arrived for pilots to enjoy
the time together. Michigan, Ottawa,

breakfast. The Brussels Firefighters
did their usual good deed on Father's
Day and got food ready to feed the
masses. It's one of those meals that
just tastes better - not sure if it's the
cooks, the tirehall atmosphere or
knowing the guys have a need for
your donation. Anyway thanks for
letting the community support you
for a change.
Joan Jacobs is calling in past

her new knee from Stratford. She's
enjoying her recovery as meals,

figure a way this behaviour can
continue when she's walking well.
Way to go Joan!
