CHARLENE RENEE
(STEPHENSON) HERGERT
Charlene Renee (Stephenson)
Hergert of Ottawa, passed away at
Queensway-Carleton Hospital on
Sunday, May 14, 2006. Born in
Clinton on Jan. 11, 1969, Charlene
was in her 38th year.
Charlene will be lovingly
remembered by her children, Ryan,
Jessica and Laura; her mother,
Sharon Stephenson of Brussels; her
sisters Corrinna Strong and husband
. Peter of Mississauga and Chantelle
den Dekker and husband Arnold of
Brussels; her grandparents, Charles
Storey and Mary Pennington of St.
Marys and Sarah Stephenson of
Brussels; her niece and nephews
MacKenzie, Kennedy, Connor and
Megan; and her husband Jason.
She will also be remembered by
her aunts and uncles Ken and Anita
Storey and Don and Anne Storey all
of St. Marys, Lois and Wayne Todd
of Wingham and Doreen and Ralph
Welsh of Bayfield, parents-in-law
Gary and Ruth Hergert, her brother-
in-law Adam Hergert (Yvonne
Kool), and her sister-in-law Connie
Hergert (Shaun Hodgins).
Charlene was predeceased by her
father Frederrick Stephenson, her
sister Rhonda Stephenson
grandparents Mary Storey and Dick
Stephenson and cousin Dan Storey.
Friends were received by the
family from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.
Sunday from the Schimanski Family
Funeral Home. The funeral service
was conducted from St. John's
Anglican Church, Brussels, on
Monday, May 22 at 1 p.m. with Rev.
Tom Wilson officiating.
A remembrance of Charlene was
given by her sister Corrinna and a
reading was said by her cousin Amy
Welsh. Rev. Keith Stokes led the
congregation in the Prayers for the
People.
Carrying floral tributes were
Lanette Todd, Amy Welsh, Marcia
Wilkinson, Jenny Storey and Mary
Jane Storey.
Honorary pallbearers were Ken
and Anita Strong, Don and Anne
Storey, Lois and Wayne Todd and
Doreen and Ralph Welsh.
Pallbearers were Peter Strong,
Arnold den Dekker, Brent
Wilkinson, Stephen Todd, and Aaron
and Jeremy Welsh.
Burial took place in Brussels
Cemetery.

IVY LOIS CLOAKEY
Mrs. Ivy Cloakey of Belgrave
passed away at Wingham and
District Hospital on Thursday, May
18, 2006. She was 74.
The former Ivy Campbell was the
beloved wife of the late Stewart
Cloakey who predeceased her in
1969. She was the dear mother of
Douglas and Joan Cloakey of RR4,
Brussels, Alex and Janette Cloakey
of Thunder Bay, Paul Cloakey and
,Shawna of Guelph, Sharon and
Barry Bondi of RR4, Brussels and
Sandra and Peter Brommer of
Clinton. She was the loving

this powerful day will enlighten girls
to the possibilities available to them
as they meet, learn and share with
each woman who will serve as a
grandmother of 10 grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren. Mrs.
Cloakey was the sister of Gladys and
Clare VanCamp, Lorne and Lillian
Campbell, Bruce and Linda
Campbell, and John and Linda
Campbell, all of Belgrave, Donald
and Susan Campbell of Strathroy,
,Ronald and Eleanor Campbell of
London, Allan (Bert) and Georgette
Campbell of Wroxeter and Gordon
and Maureen Campbell of St.
Catharines.
She was predeceased by her
parents Floyd and Olive (Helm)
Campbell and by her. sister Marilyn
type of 'Career Coach'.
The coaching roster is a local
who's who of doctors, mechanics,
designers, -officers, trainers,
entrepreneurs and more, who will
enthusiastically give of their time,
energy and expertise in this full day
of hands-on workshops, mentoring
and energy-packed intermissions.
The day will begin with a keynote
address from Cathy Anstett,
entrepreneur from Stratford. The
morning will hold several structured
workshops while the afternoon will
be opened up into a career
marketplace and prize auction. The
purpose of this Career Day is simply
to allow girls to meet dynamic
women, ask questions, discover the
stories and passions of each and
having an opportunity to establish a
resource and friend for the future.

Funeral Home, Wingham on Sunday
from 1 - 4 and 7 - 8 p.m. The funeral
service was held at the funeral
chapel on Monday at 1:30 p.m. Rev.
Cathrine Campbell officiated.

Cemetery, Belgrave.
