PHYLLIS MARIE KATHERINE
STREET
Mrs. Phyllis Marie Katherine
Street of Blyth passed away
peacefully at Seaforth Community
Hospital on Tuesday, March 7, 2006.
She was in her 82nd year.
She was the beloved wife of Dr.
Richard Street. Mrs. Street was the
loving mother of Susan (Pat)
Supeene of Medicine Hat, Alta.,
David (Kathy) Street of Orangeville,
Kathy Lee of Kitchener, Philip
Street (Vanessa Grant) of Toronto
and Eric (Linda) Street of Clinton.
She was the cherished grandmother
of Shannon, Dylan, Graeme,
Flannery, Olwyn, Isaac, Will,
Richard, Geoffrey, Jasmine, Alicia,
and Jamie. She was the dear sister of

Women met at the home of Betty
Campbell on March 8 with 17
people present.
The evening began with the
singing of Give Me Oil in My Lamp
with Mrs. Campbell at the piano.
Nelva Scott welcomed all present
and thanked the hostess.
The program opened with a
humorous speech given by Heather
Bone on underwear. Tori Cardiff
sang Somewhere Over the Rainbow,
accompanied by Karen Cardiff, and
Christine Bone gave an interesting
speech on Where is my Lost Sock.
Mrs. Scott read the UCW Purpose
and gave some thoughts from
Matthew 6:34; not to worry about
things one cannot change.
The program closed with prayer
by Sandra Cable. Everyone joined in
singing Tell Me the Story of Jesus.
The business portion began with
the reading of the minutes of the
February meeting by Audrey
Cardiff. Isabelle Wheeler gave the
treasurer's report..
Audrey Cardiff gave a report on
the Terry Sumsion concert stating
the tickets are going very well.
An invitation to Wingham United
Church Tuesday, May 16 was read.
Mrs. Scott gave a report from the
stewards' meeting noting the cost for
the UCW share of the Observer
would be $427.
There was further discussion
regarding the carpet committee for
the upcoming meeting.
The United Church ladies are
asked to serve lunch on Wednesday,
April 12 during Holy Week services.
A discussion followed regarding
the purchase of a flag for the
Edward (Marie) Wilhelm of Ottawa,
Raymond (Phyllis) Wilhelm of
Barrie, Alfred Wilhelm of
Walkerton, Henry Wilhelm of
Toronto, Wilma Wilhelm" of
Stratford and Mary (Robert) Davey
of Peterborough.
Friends were received at the Blyth
Visitation Centre of the Falconer
Funeral Homes, 407 Queen St.,
Blyth on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9
p.m.
Mass of the Christian Burial was
held at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic
Church, Clinton on Saturday, March
11, at 11 a.m. Father Christopher
Gillespie officiated.
Interment will be in St. Michael's
Cemetery.

(DAVIDSON) McCAULEY
Eloyce Marion McCauley (nee
Davidson), died peacefully at her
home, Kingsway Lodge, St. Marys,
surrounded by her children on
March 9, 2006. She was in her 81st
year.
She was a long-time member of
the St. Marys Salvation Army and
St. Marys Legion Auxiliary and an
active volunteer in various
community organizations.
Mrs. McCauley was the loving

McCauley, Sandy Tays, Shannon
Rumming, Angel Woodcock, Todd
Robinson, Blake and Michelle
Robinson, Kelly and Steve Wheeler,
Dana and Brad Kocus and Dawn
Anderson. Mrs. McCauley was the
loving great-grandmother of Derek,
Dustin, Douglas, Stuart, Connor,
benediction, followed by lunch

Quinn, Luke, Jake, Raven, Dylan,
Cody, Jillian, Zackary, Cormick and
Larissa. She was the dear sister of
Audrey and Paul Langdon of Elora,
Doreen and Jim Wilson of Harriston
and sister-in-law of Jean Davidson
from Brussels.
Her' brothers Cleve and Cal
Davidson predeceased her.
Family and friends were received
at the St. Marys Salvation Army
Community Church,•220 Queen St.,
St. Marys, on Friday, March 10 from
2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m.
The funeral service was conducted
at the church on Saturday, March 11
at 10 a.m. with Major Jim Hann
officiating.
Interment will be in St. Marys
Cemetery.
Donations to the Salvation Army
or the charity of choice would be
appreciated.
Arrangements were entrusted to
the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral
Home, St. Marys.
