Huron East council passed a
motion to authorize the payment for
emergency repairs and the
replacement of a paging unit after
receiving recommendation from
Huron East fire chief Marty Bedard.
"When you call 911 and ask for

Bedard said that paging system
broke down and the hospital is in
need of a new one plus a backup.
The cost would be split among 11
units in the county, Blyth fire chief
Paul Josling said.
