AMY MACCROSTIE
Amy MacCrostie of RRS,

2006. She was in her 84th year.
She was the beloved wife of the
late Hugh MacCrostie and dear
mother of Annette McKellar of
Victoria, B.C. and Dale (Hope)
MacCrostie of RR4, Kincardine. She
was the loving grandmother of Kyla,
Shelagh, Pam and Jeff (Zoe). Mrs.
MacCrostie was the sister of Stewart
(Leba) Toll of London and sister-in-
law of Carol MacCrostie and Marie
Toll.
She was predeceased by brother
Aubrey Toll, sister Marjorie
McDougall, brothers-in-law Ronald
MacCrostie and Kenneth
McDougall.
Friends were received at the
McCallum and Palla Funeral Home,
Cambria Road at East Street,
Goderich on Sunday afternoon from
2 - 5 p.m.
The funeral service was held at the
funeral home on Monday, March 6
at I p.m. Pastor Don Vair officiated.
As part of the ROSE program the
Walton Women's Institute extended
an invitation to all the branches in
Huron Perth District to help celebrate
109 years of FWIO.
Feb. 19 was WI Day. The
Legislative Assembly of Ontario
declared an Act (Bill 26) to designate
a week of recognition for the
Women's Institutes. This week begins
on the third Monday in February each
year and is proclaimed the Women's
Institute Week Act, 1999.
Margaret McInroy introduced
Janna Dodds, a nurse with the
Melville Presbyterian Church in
Brussels. She spoke on fibronayalgia.
This is a disease of many faces.
Chronic fatigue, tired achy and sore
muscles are some of the conditions.
Mrs. Dodds suggested everyone
should know their blood type and eat
according to their type as foods can
be the cause of problems.
She suggested reading the book Eat
Right For Your Blood Type by Dr.
J.D. Adamo and Katherine Whitney.
She found after having read this book
and knowing her own blood type she
could then add or eliminate foods
accordingly.
In Biblical times people ate what
there was at hand. They grew
vegetables without chemicals or
sprays and ate meat from their herds.
Natural oils were a big part of their
diet.
She also suggested reading a book
entitled Fats That Kill And Fats That
Heal. Exercise is also very important
and the people in ancient times
walked everywhere, most times over
very rugged terrain.
Interment will be in Colborne
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were grandson Jeff
MacCrostie, nephews Vaughan Toll,
Allan McDougall, Terry Toll,
Warren Toll and family friend Ernie
Good.
Donations to Victoria Street
United Church or the Heart and
Stroke Foundation would be
gratefully acknowledged as
expressions of sympathy. .

People need to embark on their
own health regimen by working not
only with their doctors but with either
a naturalpath or homeopath, should
they contemplate the use of natural
products. Always inform your doctor
of any changes with what you are
taking.
Mrs. Dodds credits her health to the
changes she has made with her eating
habits and•knows just what her body
