us care for Mary over the two-year
period of her battle with cancer.
Thank you to all those who prayed
- your prayers were so vital - not

Thank you for all the meals that
were made - for the cards and
letters of encouragement - for the
flowers - and for the visits - all
meant so much. We would like to
say a special thank you to all of our
home care nurses - your love and
compassion helped us through a
very difficult process, but you
made it as easy as it could be,
thanks so much. We want to thank
you all for your part in making
Mary's life "a triumph - not a

Cards of thanks Coming events
GNAY. Our family was
overwhelmed by the support we
received at the time of the passing
of a beloved husband, father and
brother. A sincere thank you to our
family, friends and neighbours for
flowers, telephone calls, food,
charitable donations and cards. A
special thanks to the nurses of
Wingham and District Hospital, Dr.
Antoniadis and Dr. Marshall.
Thanks also to the McBurney
Funeral Home for their professional
services and to the Wingham Golf
and Curling Club for providing
refreshments for the celebration of
life. We will always remember the
kindness shown to us. - Noreen,
Grant and Suzanne, Julie and Chris.

GOWING. The roller coaster ride
of the last five years is now over
and Sue has earned a rest from her
long, hard fight with ovarian
cancer. Many. shared this ride with
Sue and me, Rob, and Jen and
Talbot. Thank you for celebrating
with us the little victories like the
brief span of remission and for
sharing our sorrow and wiping our
tears. And thank you for making
our participation in this fight so
much easier. The coffee girls
cannot be thanked enough for their
constant and sure support and
steadfast friendship, not only to Sue
but also to me. During our last five
months in Barrie, lawn and garden
was cared for without a word being
spoken. Sue's cat, the elusive
Oliver, was well cared for and his
size certainly bespeaks this fact.
Many offered comfort through gifts
of food - meats, casseroles, pies,
tarts and fruit. Thank you. Friends
like you are a joy, a treasure and
your kindnesses and thoughtfulness
will always be remembered. And,
of course, the care Sue received
from the medical and nursing staff
at the Royal Victoria Hospital
through the past five years, and in
particular during the past five
months, must be mentioned; it was
nothing short of amazing. Three B
North became home to her and nc
treatment known to modern
medicine was not considered and
tried. And for me, there was Sandy
and Lee's B&B, complete with
food, a warm hug and lots of love.
The love of family has always been
with us. Thanks Mom, and thanks
to Sue and my siblings and their
families. - Neil, Rob and Jen. 02-1
