Debbie Campbell remembers her
grandmother’s house as being a
special place at Christmas.
“My grandparents never had that
much, but what they did have, well,
I just know that when I was little, it
just seemed magical.”
It is this atmosphere that she has
tried to re-create in her own home
year after year. And it works. The
country home is a work of art, w.th
every available space decorated for
the holiday season.
What she has truly come to enjoy,
along with her husband Laurie, is
decorating the exterior of their
home. “1 like that as much as any,”
said Debbie.

Creating magic
Clockwise, from above: Santa and a grapevine tree adorn
a table; behind the couch on which Debbie’s sitting is a
festive display of caroilers and candles; a Dickensian
scene is reflected in the mirror. (Bonnie Gropp photo)

Some things never change at Christmastime. Children still yearn for
that special toy, and hope for snow in the forecast.
We'd hope you get everything you wish for, this holiday season!
