Hall board elects new slate of officers At the recent Cranbrook Hall board meeting the following officers were elected: president, Ernie Lewington; secretary/treasurer. Eleanor Stevenson; contact person. Tracy Swart; council representative. Mark Beaven. Just a reminder there will be no card parties in Cranbrook in January, February and possibly March. Darts will begin again in the Cranbrook Community Centre on Wednesday. Jan. 7 at 8 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Contact person is John Gillis at 887-6009. Peter Workman was visiting more people in the area this holiday before moving from Ottawa to Iqaluit. Inuktitut. He will be working as a health inspector there. Ross and Betty Knight are back from Florida for a few days, staying with Nancy Walker and family. Craig Gillis has moved into the home across from Peter Hagedoorn in Cranbrook. Saturday, Dec. 27 Mark and Tracy Swart are holding Christmas for Charles. Laura, Don and Darlene Fischer, Kendra and Matt Snyder and family, and Don and Diane Bray. On Sunday. Jan. 28 Jenna Angeline Lina Swart, daughter of Tracy and Mark will be baptized in St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church. Brussels. Leslie and Yvonne Knight will hold Christmas for their sons and their families on Sunday, Dec. 28. Some snowmobilers in the area are hoping for enough snow to attend the New Year's party in the bush at Wishing you a season filled with great joy!
