in their unused toys for other children to buy as Christmas

about
Hanukkah
The Walton Little School’s Acorn
or Senior pre-school class enjoyed
learning about Hanukkah.
They made driedels, counted
candles on the Menorah and made
latkes (potato pancakes) as a special
treat. It is fun to learn about
other holiday celebrations and
traditions.
They enjoyed Christmas carolling
with their parents at the parent
night.
The Shining Star class is counting
down to Christmas Day and getting
very excited. They have written
letters to Santa and hope*'to hear
back from him soon.
They received letters from their
penpals in the Acorn class and from
Ms Webb’s Grade 1/2 class.
They have learned about letter
writing, braille and sign language as
ways of communicating.
They look forward to learning
more ways of communicating and
enjoyed singing with their parents
as well at parent night.
