starting Friday night at the Clinton
parade following with parades in
Wroxeter and Mitchell on Saturday.

its grand opening feast on Wednesday, Nov. 26. Remarks were sent from MP Paul Steckle,

Auburn’s 150th Celebration
general meeting will be held on Dec.
9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Knox United
Church.
The Friday, Nov. 28 card party
held at the Auburn Community Hall
had a very good turnout in spite of
the weather with 19 tables in play.
The proceeds of the card party will
go to the 150th Celebration fund.
First-prize winners were Stewart and
Lois Chamney. Second place was a
tie between Ken Empey and Wayne
Carter and Lloyd and Lillian
Appleby. Third piace was claimed
by Murray and Connie Nesbitt. The
50/50 winner was Brent Andrews.

The first advent candle was lit by
Maureen, Danielle and Joyce Bean.
Each Sunday a new Advent candle
will be lit by a family for the four
weeks before Christmas.
