Agriculture ___ Brussels Livestock report Veal sells lower trade, lambs sell steady Total receipts for Brussels Livestock for the week ending Oct. 31 were 3,734 head of cattle, 628 lambs and goats. On Tuesday the fed steers and heifers sold $5 to $8 higher while the cows sold steady. On Thursday the veal sold on a lower trade while the lambs sold at prices steady to last week. On Friday all weights and classes of Stockers sold on a strong active trade. There were 6T1 steers on offer selling from $90 to $95 with sales to $101.50. Walter McKenzie, Dublin, consigned one black steer weighing 1,455 lbs. which sold to Dominion Meats for $101.50. His overall offering of seven steers averaged 1,484 lbs. selling for an average price of $91.02. Ten steers consigned by Ivan B. Weber, Paisley, averaged 1,498 lbs. selling for an average price of $92.73 with his top limousin steer weighing 1,465 lbs. selling to Norwich Packers for $100. Ivan Braun, Mount Forest, consigned six limou­ sin steers averaging 1,378 lbs. sell­ ing for an average price of $97.49 with sales up to $98.25.
