Blyth Grade ls share their cooking tips Christmas is such a wonderful, time of year, full of magic and mystery. With a lot of questions about Santa, his work and this special time of year, The Citizen decided the best place to find the answers was by asking the experts. Grade 1 students from Blyth, Brussels, East Wawanosh, Grey and Hullett public schools gave us their take on Santa and his life. BLYTH PUBLIC SCHOOL Grade 1 students What's your favourite food at Christmas and how do you make it? "Christmas sugar cookies. You have to put the dough in the oven and cut out the cookies with cookie makers. Then you have to put white sprinkles on top." - Sean "Candy canes. You melt the sugar together with the strips and pour it into molds. Then you have to wait five days for it to be hard and then you can eat it." - Zoe "Hamburger helper is my favourite. My mom makes little chocolate chip things that have sugar and everything on it. She uses ingredients, sugar, chocolate chips and frosting.
