The Alzheimer Society of Huron
County has announced that pledge
sheets are now available for the 10th
Annual Indoor Walk for Memories
to be held Jan. 22.
Walks will be held in Wingham,
Clinton, Seaforth, Exeter and
Goderich. New incentive prizes are
available, just for walking. There is
also a corporate challenge this year.

the Belgrave Institute Hall for their
annual Christmas celebration hosted
by Mait and Mary Edgar and faMily.
The Women's Institute served a
delicious meal which everyone
enjoyed to the fullest. Carols were
sung while waiting for Santa to
arrive and give out the presents with
the help of many helpers.

long was held before the service.
The lighting of the third candle of
the Advent, the Candle of Joy was
done by the Kerr family. Paul,
Nicole, Colton and Kelsey.
Rev. Eugen Bannerman showed
the children some olives and
demonstrated how to squeeze oil out
of them.
The choir anthem was Bread of
Heaven, Wine of Heaven.
The candidates and their sponsors
were presented for confirmation:

from Luke 2:8-20. Grand and Jessica
Sparling favoured the congregation
with a Christmas medley on the
violins. Anne Elliot read Next Year
We Will Do Better, by Pat Milliken.
Rev. Bannerman's message was
What If There Were No Christmas
Celebrations.
The choir sang Joy, Joy, Joy.
The Christmas family Mike,
Carla. Keonia, Keldon and newborn
Ameera Lee Pawitch took their
places and the lighting of the candles
was held. Cappy Onn played a violin
solo 0 Holy Night and Gil Garret
played Silent Night followed by the
Christmas Benediction.
