Obituaries
WARREN DOUGLAS MOORE
Warren Douglas Moore of Blyth
and formerly of Stratford passed
away at Wingham and District
Hospital on Friday, Nov. 26, 2004.
He was in his 49th year.
Warren was born in Stratford.
Ontario on March 23. 1956. He was
a forestry consultant and was the
Huron County tree commissioner
and bylaw enforcement officer. He
was also a member of the Blyth
United Church, a volunteer
firefighter with the Blyth and
District Fire Department and was
active also in sports as both a player
and a coach.
Warren was the beloved husband
of Donna (Doig) Moore. He was the
loving father of Erin Moore at home.
He was the dear son and son-in-law
of George Moore of Staffa, Auleen
Moore of Mitchell Nursing Home
and Harold Good of Listowel. He
was the dear brother and brother-in-
law of Wanda and Ian Fisher of
Stratford, Randy Moore and
Margaret O'Sullivan of Toronto,
Linda and Gregg Roberts of Saint-
Lazare. Quebec. Bonnie and Gerald
Brown of Molesworth and Bill and
Shirley Doig of Gorrie. He was also
survived by several nieces, nephews,-
great-nieces and great-nephews.
Warren was predeceased by his
brother, Gregory Moore, mother-in-
law Barbara Good, and by a nephew
Steven Brown.
Friends were received at the Blyth
President Margaret Mann
welcomed the members of the
Auxiliary to the Wingham and
District Hospital to the November
meeting in the terrace room.
Plans were made for the annual
poinsettia tea which was held at the
hospital on Nov. 25. Shirley
McKague and Ruth Mathews were
convenors.
The Auxiliary held another
successful rummage sale this
October and volunteers were
thanked for their efforts. Also,
volunteers were thanked for helping
at the flu vaccine clinic at the
hospital where 862 flu shots were
given.
There are now teen volunteers
Visitation Centre. 407 Queen St.,
Blyth on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9
prin.
The funeral service was held at the
Blyth United Church on Monday,
Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. Rev. Dr. Eugen
Bannerman officiated. Rev. Ernest
Dow also participated in the service.
Interment was in Blyth Union
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Randy Moore,
Ian Fisher, Gregg Roberts, Gerald
Brown, Bill Doig, and Roger Reid.
Flowerbearers were Steve Cook,
Rick Elliott, Kevin Falconer, Steve
Howson, Brad Lewis and Jeff Peters.

Education Trust, Canadian Cancer
SoCiety, Blyth United Church
Memorial Fund or the Greenway
Memorial Park Project. Blyth would
be appreciated as expressions of

JACK MATTHEW. ROBINSON
Jack Matthew Robinson passed
away at his residence in McKillop
Twp on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004. He
was 22 months.
Jack was the cherished son of
Brent and Susan (Roney) Robinson.
He was the much-loved brother of
Mark, Josh and Ben. Jack was the
beloved grandson of Bob and Rose
Robinson and Franklin and Margaret
Roney. He will be lovingly
remembered by his aunts and uncles,
Scott and Jeannette Robinson, Jane
and Bruce Lindner, Anne and
Heather Robinson-Roy, Jeff and
working under the direction of
Rosemary LaRose. They have been
making Christmas crafts for the
patients, as well as doing their
regular tasks.
There are nine tables of bridge
being played monthly in Lucknow,
and nine in Wingham. The Bridge
committee is looking for more
players.
The hospital gift shop is in need of
more volunteers to staff the shop in
the afternoons and evenings.
Guest speaker was Nancy Brown,
director of diagnostic services at the
Wingham and Listowel hospitals.
She described her work overseeing
the operation of labs, diagnostic
imaging and infection control.

Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home, 87
Goderich St. W., Seaforth on
Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.
The funeral service was held at St.
Peter's Lutheran Church, Brodhagen
on Wednesday, Dec. I at 2 p.m.
Pastor Christine Mussar officiated.
Pallbearers were Jeff Robinson,
Kevin Williamson, Jeff McGavin
and Chris Cardno.
Flowerbearers were Brett, Lauren
and Ryan Williamson, David
Robinson and Emily Lindner.
Interment was in ,St. Peter's
Cemetery.
Merriorial donations to Seaforth
Community Hospital Foundation or
Children's Hospital of Western
Ontario would be appreciated as

MARY FISCHER
Mary Fischer of Listowel,
formerly of Brussels, passed away
on Friday, Nov. 5, 2004. She was-75.
Mary was born on July 6, 1929, to
parents Joseph Wilton and Pearl
Taylor. She married Hartley Fische:
58 years ago on Nov. 2, 1946, in
Brussels, Ontario.
She was the beloved wife of
Hartley of Listowel; the dear mother
of Murray (Connie) Fischer of
Campbellford, Don (Jeanne) of
Point Clark. Rae (Nancy) of RRI,
Listowel, Mary Anne (Brian)
Denney of Woodbridge, and Nancy
(John) Whitty of Bracebridge; and
also will be sadly missed by her
grandchildren, Julie (Kevin)
Brahaney, Tyler, David, Johanna,
Laurie (Dwayne) Raynard, Steven
(Cheryl), Jason, Matthew (Amy),
Martha (Steven) Kerr, Sarah, Karen,
Janet, Michelle, Rachel and Scott; as
well as her great-grandchildren,
Jakob, Elijah, Alexandra, Joshua,
Emma, Nikki, Mervin and
Samantha.
Mary was predeceased by her
parents; one sister, Jean Dobson; and
one grandson, Jeffrey Fischer.
Visitation was held on Sunday,
Nov. 7, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m., at
Knox Presbyterian Church,
Listowel, where the funeral service
was held on Monday, Nov. 8 at I I
a.m. Rev. Mark Davidson and Rev.
John Zondag officiated.
Interment was in Brussels
Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy,
donations were made to the Knox
Presbyterian Church McDonald
Library.
Arrangements were entrusted to
the Simpson Funeral Home,
Listowel.
