Comrade Sandra Josling collected the poster, essay and poems from the schools and had comrades in to do the judging on Wednesday. It was a difficult task for Comrades John Lowe, Cecil Moore, Julie Harrison and Lawrence Machan. I'm sure they did a great job and the winners will be notified through the schools. The Thursday night darts had only 12 players taking aim at the boards. In first place were Ron Schmidt and Catrina Josling. There was a tie for second between the team of Julie Harrison and Harry Smith and solo player John Harrison, who ended as the winner. The high shot was by Ron Schmidt with 125 and the high Lodge to hold Christmas party at JR's The regular meeting of Morning Star Rebekah Lodge, Brussels took place on Tuesday, Nov. 23 with Noble Grand Sister. Elva Brown presiding. The charter of the lodge was draped in loving memory of Sister Retta Hoover who passed away on Nov. 14. Plans were finalized for 12 members to attend a dinner and meeting on Dec. 7 in Stratford in honour of sister Marilyn Wilson, president of the Rebekah Assembly, when she pays her official visit to Huron District #23. Some of us were a little concerned. He had one hectic schedule on Friday and Saturday. His planning department must be very competent just to keep the times and places straight let alone get him to each parade and visit on time. Way to go Santa — another year of efficiency. She had spent the-last 10 days in Guatemala, a country with a history of massacres, injustice and violence.
