Ride'em biker
Although the students from East Wawanosh Public School
already know how to ride their bikes, they were put to the
test during a bike rodeo on June 15. Sr. Const. Don
Shropshall of the OPP, along with older students and parent
volunteers, checked each student's bike. making sure the
brakes worked and the helmets were crack-free. They then
took a number of bike challenges. Grade 1 student Chance
Smith keeps his bike steady while trying to keep it between
the lines. (Elyse OeBruyn photo)
