Even though she's only 20 pounds, this newly-born filly
proved size doesn't matter as she jumped, kicked and
pranced around the pen at Neil Gowing's farm in Brussels.

court
The Ontario Superior Court of
Justice in Toronto has approved the
sale of the assets of Acre T Farms
Ltd.,
The court approved the sale on
May 27 and further granted Acre T
the protection of the Companies'
Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA)
proceedings until July 15 to allow
time to finalize certain administra-
tive details surrounding the sale.
Lambert Huizingh, the court-
appointed chief restructuring officer
of Ade T, identified the purchaser as
John Rasenberg. Huizingh said he is
not at liberty to disclose any details
concerning the sale price or other
proprietary information.
The sale was the culmination of a
court-approved sales process which
was started earlier this year.
Huizingh understands that the new
owner made certain arrangements
with TZ Ventures Inc. of Wyoming,
ON to operate the business.
Acre T Farms Ltd. - one of
Ontario's largest hog producers -
was granted court protection from
its creditors under the CCAA on
Oct. 10 after the business encoun-
tered financial difficulties brought
on, in part, by a depressed market
and low commodity prices.
