SECURITY TENANT POSITIONS:
The Huron County Housing Corporation requires Security
Tenants to live on site in a one bedroom apartment at the
following locations:
1. Bayfield, Ontario - 9 Jane Street - 17 unit building
(begin mid June)
2. Seaforth, Ontario - 34 John Street - 16 unit building and
a 21 unit on Market Street. (begin June 1, 2004)
Remuneration: A rent free one bedroom apartment and basic
telephone service monthly, extra compensation provided if the Security
Tenant is required to perform additional duties outside the scope of the
normal responsibilities.
Duties: To be an emergency contact for tenants in apartment buildings
after regular office hours in the event of an emergency between 4:30
p.m. and 8:30 a.m. Monday to Friday, weekends and statutory holidays
and to maintain general security.
Qualifications: Ability to deal tactfully with tenants, make decisions
independently within Housing Corporation guidelines, perform light
mattitenance, communicate verbally and in writing and the ability to
follow written instructions and file periodic written reports.
Successful candidates will be required to obtain a police
check.
