Agriculture Brussels Livestock report 3,117 lambs and goats sell at market Total receipts for Brussels Livestock for the week ending Apr. 2 were 2,272 head of cattle, 3,117 lambs and goats. On Tuesday the fed steers and heifers sold at prices $1 to $2 lower. Fancy and double muscle steers and heifers sold $85 to $94.25; choice steers and heifers, $78 to $83; second-cut steers and heifers, $75 to $80: The good cows traded steady while the plainer cows sold $1 to $2 lower. On Thursday the veal sold on a steady market. The lambs sold on a strong active trade with prices sharply higher on the Easter market. On Friday all weights and classes of stockers sold on a steady market. There were 369 steers on offer. Emerson L. Martin, Linwood, con- signed two limousin steers averaging 1,343 lbs. which sold for $94.25. His overall offering of fifteen steers averaged 1,312 lbs. selling for an average price of $90.27.
