Former Ashfield Man Passes LESLIE RITCHIE Andrew Leslie. Ritchie, a former Ashfield farmer, passed away at Wingham and District Hospital on Monday, December 1st in his 86th yCar- He was born in Ashfield Town- ship on March 4, 1890, and was the last surviving member of a family of nine born to Andreiv Ritchie and Ellen (Hunter) Ritchie. On March 16, 1921 he married Deneda Sherwood. They farmed in Ashfield until fourteen years ago when they retired to Lucknow, residing on Wheeler Street. Mrs. Ritchie died suddenly on December 31, 1967. Mr, Ritchie has been a resident of Pinecrest Manor for the past year and a half. He is survived by one son Alvin. daughter-in-law Catherine and four grandchildren . of Sarnia. Besides his wife Mr. Ritchie was predeceased by one sister Mrs. Wes (Janet) Twainley and seven brothers, William, James, Robert.
