The Lucknow Lancers, the local
Intermediate hockey team, length-
ened their losing streak to six
games in a row Sunday night losing •
to the Fergus Flyers by a score of 6
to 5.
The Lucknow club played a hard
hitting first period and took the
lead 1 to 0. Then for some
unknown reason, they did nothing
in the second period and Fergus
clobbered them with 5 quick goals,
even though Lucknow managed to
get 2 more. The third, period
brought more action as the Lancers
fought back to get 2 more goals but
the Flyers put another one in the
net and kept the lead. With, a final
attempt 'to tie the game, the
Lancers pulled their goalie but
were still unsuccessful in scoring.

Lucknow Pee Wee hockey team
lost 'two close games laSt week.
At Ripley on November 18th,
Ripley edged Lucknow by a 2-1.
score. Ripley's goals were scored
by Dave Gamble from Harold Peet
and Jeff Stanley; Jeff, Stanley from
Harold Peet. Allan Rivett, assisted
by David Gibson, scored Lucknow's
'goal.
Teeswater played in Lucknow on
November 21. The final score was
5-3' in - favour of Teeswater.
Teeswater's goals were: Rick ,
Schiestel; Steve Lorenz from Mike
Leahy and Paul Cronin; Steve

the dressing room that it takes
three periods of hard hockey to win
a game, 'not two. He was asked if
changes would be made. He did
not, reply.
Due to the increased cost of
referees and other expenses, the
price of admission has been raised
slightly' for adults and students.
Children remain the 'same.
In addition to a new name, the
club will be sporting complete new
uniforms consisting of sweaters,
pants and socks in green and gold
colors.
