ZION The community is sorry to learn of a number of sicknesses, among them former Zion neighbours, Mrs. Gordon Ritchie, Mrs. Bill Helm and Robert Helm. Mel Ritchie remains in Wingham Hospial since being admitted Tuesday of last week with an ear infection: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ritchie visited in Milton on Saturday with her mother, Mrs. Mary MacAuley of Centennial Manor. Mrs. Ritchie picked and enjoyed •fresh leaf lettuce from her garden during the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Kirkland visited several friends Sunday afternoon at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton. Michelle Cook, a member of the. C.G.I.T. Club, attended the Ice Capades in Toronto on Saturday. ' Mr. and Mrs. Allan Gibson and family were Sunday' supper guests with her brother, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Irwin and family of Boundary West. Mr. and Mrs. Russel Swan and family visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Emmerton of Kincar- dine,• on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wilkins and family were dinner guests on Sunday at the home 'of her mother, Mrs. William Irwin and Lloyd. Mary MacKinnon, who is now attending Wilfred Laurier Univer- sity in Waterloo; received her Secondary School Honour Gradua- tion Diploma at the Commence- ment at F. E. Madill on Friday evening. Murray Keith and Kenneth Reid received their Secondary School Graduation Diplomas. Mr. and Mrs. John Hamilton. of Clinton were guests on Sunday with Mr. .and Mrs. Gilbert Hamil- ton.
