Some of us have triedto become active in political parties We have been told .to quit or be fired. We think this is ridiculous. Some of us support. Mr. Davis /party. Naturally, othert support the NDP or the Liberals. But this doesn't matter to the government. It simply believes we should have fewer rights than other citizens. We don't agree. What is the ,harm in our speaking or writing publicly on issues :such as housing, education and taxes'? Or, what danger, is there for us to put, up lawn signs, or . canvass on behalf of a candidate? The government thinks this .is wrong. It has made such activities illegal. We believe in basic democratic rights. And this won't cost taxpayers a cent.
