Maclntyre of Kinloss were the
winners of a Half Carcass of Beef at
the Bruce County Beef Improve-
ment Association draw, 'held at the
1975 Beef Barbecue at Chesley
Community, July 24th. Ronald
Oswald, an. Elderslie Township
farmer, was awarded the Tommy
Cooper Award, the pr entation
made . by a representative of
C.F.O.S. radio station, Owen
Sound.

Gordon and. Mary Lou Barger,
who had been 'residing in the home
on the corner of Outram and
Wheeler Streets in the village,
owned by Mary Lou's parents, Jack
and Mary Collinson, recently
purchased the Collinson farm near
Kintail and moved there. Jack and
Mary and, daughter Jackie, who
works in Goderich, are now
residing in their tucknow home,
known to many as the former
residence of Stuart Robertson.
Mary Lou worked for the Bank of
Montreal for about ten years prior
to moving back home to the farm.
Kinloss Farmer
Died Suddenly ,
ROBERT A. STEWART
Robert Arthur Stewart of Kinloss
Township died suddenly on Satur-
day, • July 19th at Wingham and
District Hospital. He was in his
76th year. •
The late Mr. Stewart was born in
Scotland, December 1st, 1899,
coming to Canada as a youth,
where he spent his lifetime as a
farmer.
On November' 7th, 1925 he
married RObena Martin of East
WaWanosh. Except for a few years '
following their marriage they have
been continuous residents of Kin-
loss, Township.
Besides his wife Mr. Stewart is
survived by two daughters and one
son, Mrs. Lorne (Veltna) McAllist-
er of CulrOsS TiSwnship, Mrs. Dave
(Eileen) Moffat of Kinloss Town-
ship and Don Stewart of Teeswater;
ten 'grandchildren and three great
grandchildren. •
The .funeral service was held at
McPherson funeral Home, Tees-
water on Monday, July 21st. Mr.
Bev . Kay of Whitechurch was
minister.
Interment was in Teeswater
CeMetery.
Pallbearers were. John de Boer,
George Young, Bill Moffat, Donald
Moffat, iJim Stewart, Ron Stewart.'
