At Bob Jones
Nine students from Canada are
included in the 915 on the dean's
list of Bob Jones University,
Greeriville, South' Carolina. Stud
ents 'listed earned at least a B
average during the second ,semest-
er.
Bob Jones, University known as
the "World,'s MoSt UnuSu.al Univz
ersity", is a liberal arts,, coeduca-
tional Christian institution. Each
year the university matriculates
more than 5,000 students who
come from every state in the Union
and about 40 foreign countries and
territories.
Ruth Graham, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Allan Graham, Kinloss
Township,, was one of those
Canadians mentioned on the
Dean's list. She is a freshman at
the School of Education.
40th Anniyersary
A surprise party was held by
neighbours last Friday night at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill de Boer
of R. 1 Lucknow, in honour of Mr.
and Mrs. Ed McQuillin's 40th
wedding anniversary. The actual
date of 'their wedding was ' June
22nd. .
Mrs. McQuillin is the former
Jean Grant of Paisley. Mr. and
Mrs. McQuillin have one son
Grant. ' .
Mr. and Mrs. McQuillin 'were
presented with an electric toaster.

Mr. and Mrs. James Keane of
Lucknow returned last week from a
ten day visit with their daughter,
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Currie, in Sarnia
and also at Wallaceburg.
Mrs. Margaret O'Neill of Ed-
monton was the guest. of Mrs. Earl
•Wightman, Lucknow, for two
weeks, while visiting with her
mother, Mrs. Carrie Ferguson at
Pinecrest Manor.
Mrs. David McKee and Miss
Lillian Brown of Waterloo visited
on Wednesday with their friend

Andrew Ritchie , of Lucknow
returned to his home last Monday
after being in Wingham Hospital
for five days.
