...St.. Joseph's Church in
Kingsbridge was the scene
April 26 when Ursula Courtney
and • Matthew George
Richardson, both of Goderich,
exchanged 'wedding vows and
rings before the Rev. Father.
Ed. Dentinger.
The' church was decorated
with stunning pedestal
arrangements of yellow
chrysanthemums and white
pompoms on each . side of the
altar. Wedding 'music was
supplied by Miss Marianne
,Frayne, organist and soloist,
and -Bridesmaid , Lynn
Richardson, also a soloist.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and • Mrs. Leo Courtney,
Goderich. George Richardson,
Ingersoll, and the late Mrs.
Richardson, are the parents of
the groom.
The bride was given in
marriage by her father. She
wore a gown of lagoda and
Guipure lace featuring an
empire waistline, long sleeves
and a full A-line skirt. The high
neckline and sleeves. were
edged with Guipure lace and
matching lace formed a deep
yoke effect on the front and
back of the gown. Guipure lace
was used to edge the skirt and
outlined the full chapel train
which was fastened at the back
waistline with a butterfly bow.
Her Juliet cap held a shoulder-
length veil and she carried an
interesting cascade of pink
roses, white ball pompoms and
baby's breath tied with white
double-lace bridal ribbon. -
Matron of honor was Mrs.
Helen Riegling, sister of the
bride, RR 3, Lucknow. She
Chose a formal-length pastel
green polyester crimplene
gown. The round neckline and
the long, sleeves were trimmed
with a ruffle • of. the same
material. The skirt was softly
gathered from a high waistline
and edged at the hemline with a
wide flounce. She wore a white
wide-brimmed hat accented
with ribbon• to match her gown
and a single green flower. She
carried a touch of spring in a
charming mixture of white
daisies and pink sweetheart
roses.
Bridesmaids were Sharon
,McCleneghan, sister of 'the
bride, Clinton, and Lynn.
Richardson, sister of the
groom, Ingersoll. They were
gowned identically to the
matron of honor in blue
polyester crirnplene with white •

From the reports at the meeting
Sunday night, things are really
getting-underway. Tickets will be
on the market shortly for a trip to
the, vacation city of Acapulco,
Mexico. If the pictures are any
indication, it is a beautiful spot.
This will be drawn on Monday
evening, August 4. There /will be a
cash draw Friday and -Saturday
nights.
The guest preacher for: the ,
Church Service will.be the Rev. A.
Ross MacKay of Montreal, an old
Ripleyite whom many will remem-
ber as the son of Lachie MacKay.

Watford and Wallaceburg; and
Corquest, Saskatchewan.
Prior to her wedding, the
bride was feted at a shower at
the home of Miss Nancy Brown
for the local office girls; a
shower at the home of Misses
Kathy, Anita, 'Leona and
Janette Hogan for girlfriends;
and a community shower at
Kingsbridge with former
neighbors 'as guests.
The couple was entertained
by friends prior to their wed-
ding at -a fondue party at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed.
Scruton Jr., and a rehearsal
party was• hosted by Mr. and
Mrs. Richardson in .Goderich
on the eve of the wedding.
Victoria Hospital, London, where
he underwent eye surgery at the
end of the week.

Joseph's School, their teacher Miss
Nancy Anderson and Father Dent-
inger entertained the residents of
Pinecrest Manor, Lucknow.

formance n the Operetta, Snow
White and the Seven'Dwarfs which
they presented two nights May
22nd and 23rd at St. Joseph's
School.

blue' tuxedos trimmed with
darker blue velvet lapels and
pockets, blue velvet ties, pale
blue shirts and bouttonnieres of
the traditional single white
carnation's.
The wedding dinner was
served at The White Carnation,
Holmesvillp. Flower
arrangements and pink candles
centered each table. •
The bride's mother chose a,
floor-length gown of
delphinium blue floral chiffon,
the neckline and sleeves
trimmed with self pleating. Her
corsage was of pink roses tied
with a pink ribbon. Mrs.
Richardson wore a floor-length
gown of beige polyester
crimplene trimmed With, gold,
featuring'Iong full sleeves. Her
corsage was of yellow roses
tied with gold ribbon.
