The •cement block foundation for Alan Falconer's new' house was started Monday morning by J., Walters and helpers. The new home is between Bill Evan's and Wallace Milligan's homes.,. Anniversary services will be held at Chalmer's Presbyterian Church on May 25 with guest speaker Rev. Lloyd Murdock of Nova Scotia. Mr. and Mrs. Simmons of London visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs.' Lorne Durnin and Mr.. and Mrs. 'Elroy Laidlaw. They were accompanied here by Miss Jane Laidlaw, nurse-in-training at London, to visit with. her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Laidlaw. Mr. Bev Kay arrived home on Tuesday last after a weeks visit in Nova Scotia. He was accompanied there by other members of the first year class at Knox College. Them were 3 car loads of them made the tour. They also visited with Rev. Lloyd Murdock. Whitechurch W.I. will hold the May meeting on the 12th at 8.30 in the evening in Whitechurch Hail.
