John Martin and son Robert and Linda Forsyth and his other son, Mr. and Mrs. David Martin of Concord, visited last week with Fred and Goldie Martin at Para- mount. on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Helm visttea Wednesday and Thursday of last week with her girl friend in London. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Holmes of Windsor spent a week . with his cousin, Mrs. Mae , McKendrick, Lucknow. Ray Elliott of London, eldest sonof Mr. and Mrs. Bryce Elliott of Lucknow, leaves Thursday of this week for Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he will be employed at Xerox of Canada's new office in' that city. Mr. and Mrs. Elliott spent last week in London visiting with Ray. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Struthers of R. It. 1 Lucknow over the week end were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Leenders of London, Doug Struthers of Kincar- dine and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Struthers, Cindy and Sharon of Lucknow. Mr. and Mrs. Leenders have just returned from a three week trip to Holland, Germany and Austria. "You may be very proud of the paper. It is newsy and informative. The, reunion last June was a great success and your promotion through the Sentinel was very good", writes Harold B. Burns of Scarborough in renewing his sub- scription. Mr. and Mrs. A. G. "Mike" Rowe have returned to their Lucknow home after spending the winter in St Petersburg, Florida. Mike was admitted to Wingham and District Hospital on Sunday. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Neabel, R. R. 3 Lucknow, on Sunday were, his sister Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Bennevuis of Seaforth, his brother Mf. and Mrs. Ferg Neabel of Deechville and Mr. and Mrs. Ken Neabel and boys of R. R..1 Ripley. Rutherford of Goderich visited recently with Mrs. Lorne Woods and attended the funeral of the late Mrs. John Gardner. ZION Jim Ritchie, son of Mr. and Mrs, Eldon Ritchie completed his 2nd year at Centralia College of Agriculture on Friday of last week and is home with his parents. Larry Wilkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wilkins spent the week end in Toronto at a Youth ° Exchange Seminar of the Farmers Union, returning home as far as,. Listowel where his parents met him Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Ritchie and family had her sister, Mrs. Jack McLean and Donald of Wroxeter drop in' Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Kirkland had her cousin, Mrs. Lorne Woo4r of Lucknow on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wilkins and family had a visit from his sister, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Carlow of Paisley Friday evening. On Saturday Jim Sheppard of Cambridge (Gait) visited at the Wilkins home. Mrs-. Eldon Ritchie, Mrs. Harvey Ritchie and Mrs. D. A. Hackett attended a bridal . shower for Brenda Ritchie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ritchie of Kinloss at the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. Ted Robinson of'? St. Augustine. Mrs, Hackett and Mrs. Ritchie, as girls were neighbours and attended school together.
