The combined efforts of many of the congregation, who helped with the cleanup activities during the past week, are much appreciated. On Sunday, April 20, the Trustee Board will explain the matter of insulating the church attic. There will be a meeting following the church service when opinions of the congregation will be appreciated by the board. Sympathy of the community is extended to the family of the late Mrs. Dave Nivins. Mrs. Ross Spry, Niagara Falls, U.S.A., spent a few days with Mrs. Lorne Ivers. Mr. Ivers, who has been hospitalized in London the past few weeks, is being transfer- red to Wingham Hospital on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. John Bere and Karen of Landon visited his Mother, Mary Bere, Kathy and Jamie on the week end. Sympathy of the community is expressed for Mr. Albert Maize and family on the death of Mrs. Maize. Matthew and Andrew Ott of Kitchener visited with their grand- parents, Mr. and Mrs. Irvine Eedy on the week end. Mrs. Cecil Blake returned home Cyril Campbell, of Lucknow passed away in Wingham and District Hospital on Sunday, April 6 in ,his 89th year. • Born in Colborne Township on June 21,.1886, he was a son of Henry Campbell and Annie Ster- ling. On April 8, 1914 he married Mamie Roulston of the 2nd concession of Huron Township. Mr. Campbell was a farmer and farmed on the 10th concession of Ashfield Township for forty-three years: He retired in 1956 and Mr. and Mrs. Campbell moved to LucknoW where they resided ethe north end of Stauffer Street. Surviving besides his wife are. four daughters and one son, Mrs. Wilmer (Ina) Harlton of St. Marys, Miss Eileen Campbell of Kitchen- er, Mrs. Ross (Grace) Gammie of 12th concession West Wawanosh, Mrs. Victor (Louise) Kannapin of Kitchener and Harry of Dawson, City, Yukon. He was' redeceased by an infant son on March 2,•1916 and one sister Mrs. Charles (Edythe) Alton .in 1961. The funeral service was held at MacKenzie Memorial Chapel, Lucknow on Wednesday, April 9th. Rev. Doug Kaufman of Lucknow United Church was minister. Pallbearers were five grandsons, Bryan Gammie, Dale Gammie; Tom Harlton, Ronald Ferguson, Barry Vincent, and a nephew J. C. Lucknow Man Died In 89th Year CYRIL. CAMPBELL r,. on Thursday after spending the past few weeks visiting in Cam- bridge, Boston and Toronto. There were 8 tabl4s of players at the L.O.L. card party on April 10. High prizes went to Mrs. Bill Caesar and Albert Brown. Second prizes were won by Mrs. Bertha Olson and Elmer Black. This is the last L.O.L. party for this season. The Youth \Group held an Activity Night at Brookside School on Wednesday night. Mrs. Matilda Donaldson and her daughter, Mrs. Ira Small of Harriston called on Mr. and Mrs. Dynes Campbell on Wednesday. Visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Genie Glenn during the week end were Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Glenn and family of Richmond Hill; Mr. and Mrs. Jim Brydges of Ridge- town; Mr. and Mrs. Jerry La- Rocque and three, daughters of St. Eustache, Quebec. Mr. and. Mrs. Thos. Fowler and family of Parkhill visited on Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Fowler. Mr. and Mrs. Carman Hayden and Mr. and Mrs. Graham McNee were dinner guests on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hayden and family, to celebrate Linda Hayden's first birthday. Mr. Will Irvin spent a few days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Irvin.
