oration of the Township of Kinloss for approval
Hof a by-law to regulate land use passed pursuant
to Section 35 of the Planning Act.
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of 'Corporation of the Town-
ship of Kinloss intends to apply to The Ontario .MUnicipal Board
pursuant to the provisions of Section 35. of The Planning. Act for
approval of By-law 3 - 1975 passed on the 22nd day of January,
1975. •A note giving an explanation of the purpose and, effect of
the by-law and stating the lands affected thereby is urnished
herewith.
' ANY PERSON INTERESTED MAY, within fourteen. (14)
days after the date of this notice, send. by, registered mail or
deliver to the clerk of the Township of. Kinloss notice of his ob..'
jection to approval of the said by-law, together with a statement -
of the grounds of such 'Objection. °
THE ONTARIO MUNICIPAL BOARD may approve of the
said by-law but before doing so it may appoint a time and place
when. any objection to the by-law will be considered. Notice of
any hearing that may be held will be given only to persons who
have filed an objection and who have left with or delivered to
the clerk Undersigned, the address to which notice of hearing
is to be sent.
THE LAST DATE FOR FILING OBJECTIONS will be 'April '24,1975.

for the Township of Ashfield. Duties to commence May 15th, 1975.
Duties: Subject to direct, to organize and supervise all
maintenance and construction on Township Roads; to employ
and direct all persons and equipment; to prepare budget and
keep road books.
Salary $10,000 per annum plus fringe benefits.

NOTE
It is the opinion- of the Council for the. CorpOration of 'the
Township of Kinloss that a land use Control by-law shOuld be
enacted to regulate the use of land , in the Township of Kinloss.
The purpose of., By-law No. 3 - 1975, for 'which the Council
is seeking Ontario unicipal Board approval, is to prevent unk•
controlled development in the Municipality. It is a, temporary
measure, which will be used only until such time as the. com-
prehensive. Restricted, Area. By-law is prepared and adopted.
The lands affected are all of the Township of Kinloss.

tem for power supplied by Ontario Hydro, materials and sup-

pansion and growth, salaries and wages, it has become neces-

Mrs. Lorne Eadie read the minutes
of the February 5th meeting and
the family night on March 26th and
gave the treasurer's report. A let-
ter of thanks was read from
Brucelea Haven, Walkerton and
also an invitation to their Spring tea
on May 1st. Mrs. Gerald Rhody
and Mrs. Delbert Hedley, who
have led the last two 4-H courses,
are again the leaders for the
Garden Club. ,
Donations were made to Luck-
now and Ripley fajrs. A few new
articles are to be added to the
Holyrood Hall. Mrs. Morgan
Johnston gave a full report of the
District Directors meeting held at
Arniow. The District Annual will
be held at Lucknow in May. • A fun
day for the district will be held with
Mrs. William MacPherson and -
Mrs. 'Fred Page the representatives'
from Holyrood. The retiring
president, Mrs. P.A. Murray
expressed her thanks for the help
and co-operation of the members
during the past year. Mrs. Wm.
MacPherson gave the aUditor's
report. The minutes • of the last
annual meeting Were read. Mrs.
'Alex Percy presehthd the slate of
officers.
A donation was made to a family
in the area who have lost their
home in a recent fire. Reports were
given by Mrs. Alex Percy, Mrs.
Gerald Rhody, Mrs. Morgan John-
ston, Mrs. Ellwood Elliott and Mrs.
Jack Scott. A farewell address was
read by Mrs. Marion Harris to Mrs.
Morgan Johnston and Mrs. Ell-
wood Elliott presented her with a
gift. The program 'convener, Mrs.
Fred Page, took as her topic "The
food crisis".
The new president, Mrs. William
MacPherson, invited the program
planning com mittee to her home on
April 23rd. Following the' courtesy
remarks 0 Canada and grace were
sung, and delicious refreshments
were served by the hostess.
