Mr; and Mrs. Tom Metcalfe of Wingham spent the holiday week end with her daughter, Mrs. Robert Toman, Mr. Toman and sons Michael and Steven of Brantford. We are sorry to report that John Crowston of Lucknow was last week admitted to Wingham and District Hospital. His many friends wish him a speedy recovery. - Mr. and Mrs. Orland Irwin and family of West Wawanosh were Saturday evening visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Laidlaw and family. Bill Taylor, the' arena manager. • Ripley's Alive In 75 By Elaine Pollock Mrs. Walter Lock and her committee have been meeting and `planning for the pageant which will be held outdoors on Saturday night, August 2 at the Ripley-Hur- on Reunion. They have taken the history from all parts of Huron Township and Ripley and are putting the pageant together to show what it took to make the- community what it is today. Haven't seen the script, but rumour has it that it's very good. Mrs. Lock will 'be , asking various people to help with their talents during the next week or so. There will be a meeting of the Reunion '75 • committee next Sun, day night, April 6 at 8 o'clock in the Public School, to hear repoits from the different committees.
