The Juveniles ,had an impressive,15 wins and 6 losses for the season. They now go into the W.O.A.A. playoffs starting Friday night in Paisley and the home game here Sunday, February 16 in ,a best two out of three series. Goal scorers for tucknoW were Stewart Mann 3, Ian Montgomery 2, Ken .Reid and'Dennis Thoppson, '1 each. Dennis had ' 1 assist, Kevin . Ackert 3 assists, Murray Thompson 2, Cam Cook and Jeff Taylor, 1 each. The score at the end of the game, Teeswater 4, Lucknow 2. Teeswater won the best two out of three series, two games to one. Teeswater opened, the scoring in the first period, to take a 1- 0 lead. Lucknow tied the score late in the period on a goal by Tom Sinfiett, assisted by Mark Frayne. Lucknow scored again before the end of the period to take a 2-1 lead. Mark Frayne scored from 'Tom Sinnett and Eric Cayley. The second period was all Teeswater, as they scored three unanswered goals. The third, with, 24 seconds left in the period, put them ,two goals ahead to start the third period. Lucknow tried to make up the two goals, however Teeswater held them off and kept the third period, scoreleSs. Goaltender Fred How- ald again played an outstanding game in goal. Lucknow now enters-the consola- tion playoffs. They open this playdown against . Brussels and continue through the remaining; Bantam D teams in the .W.O.A.A. . in a home and home series. There is a new consolation trophy award ed by the .W.O.A.A. this year. House League Hockey Results On Febrtiary 8th, in the first game, the Canucks and Islanders battled fOr firit place in the standings. After the third period the score was deadlocked 3-3. Steve Howard, Jim Smith and Richard Jurjens potted goals for the Canucks. Joe Boyle, Bernie Burgsma and Steve Errington registered goals for the Islanders. In the second game, the Kings and Seals also battled .to a 2-2 deadlock. Brent VanOsch and Morris VanOsch dented the twine for the Kings while Jeff Austin and ,Joey. Des Roches replied for the Seals. In the third game, the. Sabres whitewashed the Flyers 12 to 0. John O'Keefe led the Attack with 4 goals, David Atkinson 3, Donald Kreutzweiser 2 and singles went to Carl Courtney, Eric Courtney and Kenny Atkinson for the Sabres.'
