Following the dinner Rev. Paul Ross, with Barbara Bosman, accom panist, led in joyous carol singing. Mary East had a story of a church with failing plaster and an European handmade lace tablecloth, which brought a separated couple back The various groups thanked the hostesses for the invitation. Marilyn Verbeek offered the thanks ftom the Aubumites. A Special Tree and represented Christmas decorating that special tree of the year. I’d like to give the names of all the children but will give the names of their teacher, plus a special thanks: Ann Vincent, Linda Plaetzer, Heather Durnin, Patti Cronin, Shirley Andrews, Sandra Popp and Bev Lecomte. Without teachers and the superintendent there would be no Sunday school. together again. The guest speaker, Eunice Russell, from Vanastra was introduced by Joan Whyte. I’m sure that she chose the correct vocation, a nurse, as her personality and smile brings good > will to everyone. I’m sure that patients feel better simply by her presence. She spoke about her life, her family and of the closeness of Christ’s presence in our lives. Londesboro UCW presented Rev. and Mrs. Ross a framed picture. < INSURANCE PREMIUMS TOO HIGH? Everyone is happy to learn of the sur geon’s success. I did not feel able to attend the church service this Sunday Dec. 10.. I was quite disappointed as it was to be the Sunday School Christmas pag eant. I’m still sorry but via TV attended the Lutheran service in Kitchener. This was put on by their Young People’s group. The young minister there is blind, the children had a con temporary music program and the singing was superb. Their group is made of several different nationali ties and the instruments played were guitars, ukuleles and piano. There was also a song by a young group. I felt better about not hearing our own after being able to enjoy this one. |S|0mni JI Insurance Brokers SaVG 20-40 /o on your auto insurance and more on other insurance services * Free No Obligation Quote Paul Hallahan R.R. #3 Blyth (519) 523-9110 Fax: (519) 523-9278 Clinton Office: (519) 482-3434 / Pager 1-888-489-2570 j ema'il:phallahan@odyssey.on.ca Farm/Commerclal/ Residential/Auto Accident/Sickness J Offering Insurance & Financial Services Solid Paha Pine THE DEAL CHRISTMAS PRESENT!
