Cutting a rug
While many visitors to the 39th
annual Thresher Reunion in
Blyth spent their time checking
out steam engines and antique
machinery, others preferred to
spend their time on the dance
floor.
Preparing the meal
Howard Aitken of Goderich and Steve Trapp of Wingham
had the task of cutting fries for the Shriners’ fish fry, a Friday
night staple at the Huron Pioneer Thresher Reunion and
Hobby Show in Blyth.
Concentration
In spite of overflowing crowds
and boisterous conversations,
Marilyn Swartz was able to
focus on her work as she paint
ed porcelain during the craft
show at the Thresher Reunion.
Passing the competition
There was fun and laughter for public school students at the
Huron Pioneer Thresher Reunion and Hobby Show in Blyth
when they participated in student activities Friday after
noon. Nate Salverda, left, and Lee Watkins of Hullett
Central Public School challenged each other’s team to a
sack race.
