HE committee calls tenders
At the Aug. 31 meeting of the

“I want to develop a sense of one
community, one municipality, rather
than one against our. Everyone
needs to feel they are treated the
same so that rural is not second class
to urban.”
Dunbar believes he is a good can
didate because of his political expe

done.
During his tenure on Grey coun

program.
The goal is “efficient and respon

said.
Of his expectation for the coming
term, Dunbar said he would focus on
safe drinking water for all urban
and rural areas, economic develop

a strong voice for Huron East.

the time of pondering, it’s time to

In preparation for the 2000 munic

decided that advance polls will be
held on Nov. 3 in Brussels and
Seaforth.
The board did not finalize a deci

tire chief of the new municipality
and the board directed staff to obtain
further information with respect to
several fire department issues for
consideration at the next meeting.
The Huron East transition board
will meet on Sept. 11 and 25 with
both meetings commencing at 7 p.m.

At the ball park on Saturday night
I thought they had changed the rules

People kept trying to get a date
with Doug Chapman who looked
like Venus Williams in a snappy
fringed dress. His extension bra was
awesome. Gary Pipe looked terrific
in floral, complete with pantyhose.
He even kept them on the whole

Dolly Langlois pitched a great
