KATHLEEN PEARL BELL Mrs. Kathleen Pearl (Oesch) Bell of Clinton passed away at Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall on Saturday, May 6, 2000 in her 77th year. Kathleen was bom in Stanley Twp. on Oct. 3, 1923, a daughter of the late Samuel Oesch and the late Mary Bedard. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Henry Bell who prede­ ceased her in 1991. She was the dear mother of Bonnie Colquhoun of St. Thomas, Bob and Judy Bell of Vanastra, Budd and Pat Bell of Clinton, Barb and Gord Leaman of Goderich, Brian and Brenda Bell of London, Brenda and John Hart of Clinton and Barry and Colleen Bell of Clinton. She was the loving grandmother of Blain Colquhoun, Tammy Elliott and husband Steve, Rob Bell, Jason and Julie Bell, Michael and Lisa Leaman, Brandon and Lindsay Bell, Matthew and Melissa Hart, Robert Crawford and Nicholas Bell. She will be sadly missed by great-grandson Dylan Elliott. Kathleen was the dear sister of May and Harry Keep of Fergus and Ann and Earl Flaxbard of Zurich. One son William Bell, son-in-law Don Colquhoun and her brother Russell Oesch also predeceased her. Friends were received at the Beattie-Falconer Funeral Home, Clinton on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. where the funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 9 at 2 p.m. Rev. William McAuslan of Wesley-Willis United Church, Clinton officiated. A musical tribute was sung by granddaughter Melissa Hart. Flowerbearers were Julie Bell, Lindsay Bell, Tammy Elliott, Melissa Hart and Lisa Leaman. Pallbearers were grandsons Rob Bell, Jason Bell, Blain Colquhoun, Brandon Bell and Matthew Hart and grandson-in-law Steve Elliott. Interment was in Blyth Union Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. KATHLEEN RUTLEDGE Kay Rutledge of Brussels passed away at Seaforth Community Hospital on Monday. May 8, 2000. She was in her 79th year. Born in Wroxeter on Jan. 23, 1922, Kay was one of 12 children born to Irvin and Albertine Durst and wife of 59 years to her husband Ned. In the years of raising her family, Kay worked with her husband in their business. In her mid-life she began a new career in nursing and worked at the nursing home in Brussels, caring for many whom had been customers years earlier. Kay also found time to work with the catering group at the arena, always helping where she could. She was an enthusiastic Maple Leaf fan and a loving and caring grandmoth­ er. Kay will be sadly missed by her husband Ned and children Brian Rutledge and his wife Marlene of Brussels and Terry Rutledge and his wife Brenda of RR1, Auburn. She was the dear sister of Alma Parr and her husband Gordon of Abbotsford, BC, May Ebel and her husband Lou of Brussels, Roy Durst and his wife Ruth of Stratford, Joyce Badger and her husband Don of Orillia, Dorothy Collins and her husband Bob of Stratford. She was the dear sister-in- law of Jack McCutcheon of Huronlea and Dorothy Dennison of Sarnia. She was also loved by her six grandchildren Dean and Diane Rutledge, Marty and Kathy Rutledge, Bobbi-Jo Rutledge, Sean Rutledge, Jordan Rutledge, Jason Rutledge, Courtney Rutledge and her six great-grandchildren Tyler, Jordan, Amanda, Matthew, Jacob and Megan. She was predeceased by her infant son Randy, her three brothers Philip, Harold, Jack and her three sisters Vera, Margaret and Agnes. Cremation has taken place. Friends were received by the fam­ ily from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, Brussels, where the memorial service was conducted o.i Thursday, May 11 at 2 p.m. with Mrs. Joan Golden officiat­ ing. Mrs. Rutledge’s grandchildren formed an honour guard while her great-grandchildren acted as bearers of balloons which were released at the cemetery. Interment of cremated remains was in Brussels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or to Seaforth Community Hospital. EDMUND (EDDIE) LEONARD MCNALL Edmund (Eddie) Leonard McNall of Blyth, passed away May 13, 2000 at his residence. He was 74. Bom in Provost, AB., to George McNall and Mildred Gray, on April 28, 1927, Mr. McNall worked as a barber at the Vancouver airport. He was a member of Blyth United Church. Mr. McNall was the dear husband of Denise Gernick (deceased) and is survived by his brother Donald McNall of Clinton, nieces Marlene and Vaughn Toll of East Wawanosh Twp., Marsha and Bob Szusz of Londesboro and Christine and Roger Moore of Benmiller. He was predeceased by his nephew Murray McNall and sister- in-law Marjorie McNall. Visitation and a service of remem­ brance was held at the Blyth Visitation Centre, May 16, wi arrangement entrusted to Beatti Falconer Funeral Homes. Rev. Paul Ross of Londesboi United Church officiated.
