KUEPFER. In loving memory of
Gary James Kuepfer. God took you
home with him one year ago on
February 26, 1999.
The last words you said to me,
Are still ringing in my ear
It’s so hard to believe you’re gone.
It’s already been a year.
It’s hard to say “I miss you”
It just wouldn’t mean enough
’Cause ever since you left,
It’s been really tough
Many years we spent apart
But still you were my dad
For all the time I had with you
I am really, really glad.
People say sometimes this happens
Or soon it will be alright
But cancer doesn’t just happen,
And you fought with all your
might.
I will not grieve the things you
showed me,
Or the courage that you had.
I never will forget you!
God thank you for my Dad.
(I don’t care who you are, where
you’re from, what you did, ’cause I
know you loved me.)
- Love and forever in my heart,
“Your #2”, Colleen Smith. 08-1

But memories live deep within our

And keep you both with us forever.

GARY KUEPFER
In loving memory of my dad,
Gary Kuepfer who lost his
battle with cancer February
26, 1999.
As we stood beside your
chair
Our hearts were crushed
and sore
We saw you slowly sinking
And knew they could do no
more
In tears we saw you leaving
We watched you fade away
Our hearts were totally
broken
You fought so hard to stay
Some people say as time
goes by
The heartache will subside
But the feeling in my heart
today
Is the same as the day you
died
Keep your arms around him
Lord
And give him special care
Make up for ALL he suffered
And all that seemed unfair
Please treasure him Lord in
your garden of rest
For here on this earth, he
was one of the best.
Always loved, never
forgotten,
Your daughter, Cora.

Rev. Ross talks of trying hard
On hand early to greet
churchgoers at Londesboro United
Church this past Sunday were Ben
and Crystal Driscoll. The ushers
were Gordon and Darlene
Shobbrook.
Mark 2: I -12 was the basis of the
conversation during the children’s
time. Knowing Jesus was in a
particular home, several men
lowered their paralyzed friend
down through a hole in the roof.
They were determined to have the
man healed by Jesus. Rev. Paul
Ross wished the children to know
that sometimes it is necessary to try
really hard to accomplish some
things.
Credibility Counts was the title
of the sermon. Scripture readings
relevant were Isaiah 43: 18-25 and
2 Corinthians I2: 18-22 reaffirming
the knowledge that God can be
trusted.
As He is the son of God,
Christians can have faith in Jesus’
love, Rev. Ross said. This is an age
when the credibility of politicians,
the media and advertisers is
questioned and -distrusted.
Consequently many question the
credibility of the church and no
longer look there for protection and
help. Faith must be backed by
actions, attitudes and words. It is
therefore necessary to be
determined with efforts to
reestablish trust in the church and
in personal lives.

heading into the second.
The visitors took the lead mid
way through the next period, only
to have Biyth’s Shaun Henry can
cel it. Assists went to Rob Archam
bault and Cole Stewart.
Archambault posted the game
winner in the third period with
helpers to Matt Bromley and
Henry. Solid goaltending by Todd
McCann kept Wallace at bay to fin
ish this one with a 3-2 score in
Biyth’s favour.
It was neck and neck for game
two the next night in Wallace. Two
goals by Koehler put Blyth out to
an early lead. Archambault picked
up an assist. Wallace narrowed the
gap three minutes later, but Kirk
Stewart gave his team some insur
ance, off a pass from C. Stewart.
Period two saw Wallace pick up
two while holding Blyth to one.
The Stewart boys reversed their
roles on this one with Cole scoring.
Micah Loder widened the spread
early in the third with a helper to
Andrew Toll. But Wallace gained
speed scoring three to take the
game 6-5.
Biyth’s Travis Shelton did a good
job in net.
