Knox WMS meeting
The Knox Church group met at
the home of Mrs Jack Knight to
hold the January meeting. This is a
Ladies Aid and WMS meeting
combined.
Mrs. Murray Crawford, leader,
opened the meeting with the
reading of a poem Things to be
Thankful For. Scripture was read in
unison from St John 3: 1-17.
The topic Making New Life
Resolutions was presented by the
leader. “As we stand at the door of
another year we should look behind
and ahead to consider-what we
have learned and contemplate what
changes we wish to see in 2000.
Sympathy extended
The community extends
sympathy to Stewart Steiss and his
family on the passing of Stewart’s
mother.
As a follow up to the Cranbrook
street name issue it was
recommended that the community
petition Grey Twp. council to
Vandals hit Seaforth school
On Jan. 15. at approximately
12:30 a.m. the custodian of the St.
James Separate School located on
Chalk Street, contacted officers
working in the Town of Seaforth
over vandalism.
Sometime that night between
5 p.m. and midnight someone spray
painted the west and south sides of
the school. The graffiti showed
