Mr. Bosman was the brother of Gordon and Louise Bosman of Belgrave, and Jack and GeorginaBosman of Goderich. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews. Mr. Bosman was predeceased by his parents Morris and Ruby (Brooks) Bosman and sisters Mabel Lamont and Alma Kendrick. Visitation will be at McBumey Funeral Home, Wingham on Saturday, Jan. 15 from 12 p.m. until time of memorial services at 1:30 p.m. Rev. John G. Roberts is officiat­ ing. Cremation has taken place. The burial of ashes will be in Wingham Cemetery, Tumberry Twp. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. CAMERON WALSH Cameron Walsh of Mitchell and formerly of RR1, Belgrave, passed away at Hillside Manor Nursing Home, Mitchell on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2000. He was in his 79th year. He was the beloved husband of the late Isabell Walsh and dear father of Gwen Walsh, Ivan Walsh, Janice Walsh and Vem and Debbie Walsh. He was the loved grandfather of Nicole and Craig Walsh. Mr. Walsh was predeceased by his brother Harold and his sister Irene Aitchinson. Friends were received by the fam­ ily from 7 - 9 p.m. Thursday at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, Brussels. At Mr. Walsh’s request there was no funeral service. Spring interment will follow in Brussels Cemetery As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society. JOHN WILLIAM BLAKE Was he tellin you? ... Probably not John William Blake of RR2, Brussels, passed away at Seaforth Community Hospital on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2000. He was in his 76th year. Bom in Grey Twp. on Nov. 10, 1924, John William Blake was the son of the late George and Mary Blake. He was a man of few words but when he spoke it was with authority and wisdom. Never going far, Grey Twp. was his home. He lived on the farm with his wife of 46 years, the former Irene Tomaszewski, enjoying their ever-expanding family; chil­ dren, grandchildren and a great­ grandchild. • John loved to spend time with the boys hunting and fishing. He always had plans to master the hunting and fishing skill. He loved to tell every­ one about the ones that got away ... especially if it wasn’t his. John has touched many of our lives. Everyone who knew John respected and enjoyed their time with him. He will be fondly remem­ bered by all. John will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Irene, his children Janet McLean and her husband Doug of St. Catharines, Don Blake and his special friend Julie McCall of Biyth, Mike Blake and his wife Mary of Seaforth, Frances McCall and her husband Ross of Brussels, Yvonne McLean and her husband Glenn of Clinton, Linda Blake and her special friend Steve Evans of Dundas, Greg Blake and his wife Marie of Molesworth and Steve Blake and his wife Kathy of Brussels. He was the dear brother of Alice Wade and her husband Howard of London, George Blake and his wife Marie of Brussels and Gordon Blake and his wife Helen of Brussels. He was the beloved grandfather of Pam Edwards and her husband Neil, Debbie McLean, Leisa McCall, Matthew McCall, Lacey McCall, Connie McLean, Danielle McLean, Ashley Blake, Adam Blake, Crystal Blake, Vicki Blake, Patricia Blake, Jonathon Blake and Johanna Blake and great-grandpa of Taylor Edwards. He was predeceased by his infant son Stephen in 1963. Friends were received by the fam­ ily from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Friday at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, Brussels where the prayer service was conducted Friday evening at 8:30 p.m. A funeral mass was celebrated at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Brussels by Father Ron Paquette on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000 at 11 a.m. Pallbearers were Jim Blake, Bob Blake, Leo Deitner, Chris Smith, Jim Ryan and David Griffiths. Spring interment will follow in St. Ambrose Cemetery, Brussels. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association. WILLIAM LEIPER Mr. William Leiper of Goderich and formerly of Hullett Twp. passed away on Jan. 4, 2000 in his 88th year. Bill taught school for 10 years at SS #11, Hullett from 1933 to 1942. He joined the army until 1946, then returned home to farm. Bill was also an agent for McKillop Fire Insurance for 30 years. Bill was initiated in the Hullett Lodge, Feb. 23, 1937 and held vari­ ous positions, Worshipful Master of Hullett Lodge 1940, District Deputy Grand Master of North Huron District 1956, secretary of Hullett Lodge from 1950-1963, treasurer from 1964-1979 and the historian from 1980 to 1995 and he compiled the history of the Hullett Lodge. Bill was bom on Nov. 8, 1912 in Hullett Twp. He was the son of the late James and Annie (Hamilton) Leiper. He was the beloved brother and brother-in-law of Thomas Leiper of Clinton and Jean Leiper of Weston. He was predeceased by two sisters Agnes and Jean Leiper and three brothers John (Jack), Guy and Robert Leiper. Friends were received at the Beattie-Falconer Funeral Homes Ltd., 153 High St., Clinton on Thursday from 2 - 5 p.m. where the funeral service was held on Friday, Jan. 7 at 2 p.m. Rev. Paul Ross offi­ ciated. Interment will be in Bums Cemetery. Donations to the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation or to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. NEIL S. MADILL Neil S. Madill passed away on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000 at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Fergus, in his 66th year. He will be sadly missed by his children Jamie Thomas (Mike) of Brussels, Jackie Fair (Jamie) of Fergus and Jon Madill of Fergus. Papa will be remembered by Samantha, Drew, Baylie and Cassidy. He will also be missed by his brother James Madill of Saskatchewan. Mr. Madill was predeceased by his parents James and Rhea Madill. GARRETH STUART FINNIGAN Suddenly at home in Egmondville on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2000 Garreth Stuart Finnigan passed away in his 53rd year. The loving and dear father of Dean Robert was predeceased by his wife Betty Jean (Cook) Finnigan in 1993. He was the beloved son of Dilys and the late Grant MacKay Finnigan and loving friend and com­ panion of Rosemarie Taman. He will be sadly missed by siblings Keith and his wife Janice of Birr, Jeannette and her husband Dick Burgess of Seaforth, Brian and his wife Theresa of Paris and Darryl and his wife Katie of Ottawa. He was the dear uncle to five nieces and four nephews and will be sadly missed as well by his mother- in-law Jean Cook of Biyth, Karen and Bill Zimmerman of Stratford and Robert and Betty Cook of Glencoe and families. He will also be remembered by his many fishing buddies.
