Huron OPP, on Aug. 9 received
two calls of break-ins to farmhouses
in Huron East.
The first was received at 7:45 p.m.
when a family returning home from
a reunion found their house had been
broken into. The break-in took place
sometime between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
when Someone entered the home,
located on Manley Line, through an
unlocked door. Once inside the
residence the home was ransacked
and $8,000 worth of jewellery and
money was stolen. Some of the
jewellery items that were stolen are

The traffic on McNabb Line has
been something else this week with
everyone going to see the crop
circles at Steve Knight’s farm.
Floyd and Mary Nesbitt,
accompanied by their daughter and
her husband, Samantha and Chuck
Terpstra and their sons, Matthew
and Curtis, flew to Calgary to attend
their grandson, Chris Davis’s
marriage to Mardeu.
While there they visited Lake
Louise and Drumheller where they
saw the mountains and the dinosaur
museum.

Officers investigating have
learned that a thin male had been
seen leaving the residences on a blue
Arctic Cat four-wheel ATV. Officers
are continuing their investigation
and any help that the public could
provide would greatly assist the
