The next euchre will be held on Friday, Aug. 15 at 8 p.m. Huron OPP, on Aug. 9 received two calls of break-ins to farmhouses in Huron East. The first was received at 7:45 p.m. when a family returning home from a reunion found their house had been broken into. The break-in took place sometime between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. when Someone entered the home, located on Manley Line, through an unlocked door. Once inside the residence the home was ransacked and $8,000 worth of jewellery and money was stolen. Floyd and Mary Nesbitt, accompanied by their daughter and her husband, Samantha and Chuck Terpstra and their sons, Matthew and Curtis, flew to Calgary to attend their grandson, Chris Davis’s marriage to Mardeu.
