Recreation Facility Supervisor
At the Seaforth & District Community Centres
The Recreation Facility Supervisor is responsible for all operations and
administration of the Facility including bookings, maintenance, work sched
ules, staff supervision, financial control and public
relations. t
The Recreation Facility Supervisor will work closely with
community and volunteer organizations to develop and implement related
sport recreation and leisure programs.
Qualifications should include knowledge and skills in recreation facilities
management acquired through a Community College
diploma program, or an Ontario Recreation Facilities Association
certification as a Registered Recreation Facilities Manager (RRFM), or
Certified Ice Technician (CIT).
The successful candidate must possess organizational, supervisory skills, and
the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Excellent interpersonal, writ
ten and verbal skills are also required.
The successful candidate will be required to work varied hours, day and
evening shifts, weekdays and weekends as per regular
schedules, tournaments and special events.
This is a full time position with an attractive salary and benefit
package.

1 Full-Time Executive Director
We require one full-time Executive Director who will oversee the creation,
implementation and administration of ViCARS of Huron County.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Thorough knowledge of social services and victim issues, acquired
s through relevant education and/or experience.
• Sound knowledge of the judicial system, as well as community
resources available to Huron County residents. '
• Understanding of ViCARS policies and mandates. Training and !
experience in crisis callout situations required.
• Good oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
• Administrative, Financial and organizational skills.
• Suitable Computer knowledge with experience in Microsoft Word,
Excel and Power Point.
• Strong volunteer and staff management skills.
• High level of commitment to oversee a complex and demanding
program.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
DUTIES
• Implement newly created office in Huron OPP Detachment.
• Recruit, train, schedule and supervise volunteers.
• Facilitate staff training and supervision.
• Assist with Police and referral services training
• Respond to crisis calls.
• Attend and participate in community committees/agency meetings.
• Liaise with Police/Fire and Community Social Service Agencies.
• Prepare required reports and report directly to a Board of Directors.
Must have valid driver's licence/access to a vehicle. Travel throughout
the County will be required. Must be willing to work flexible hours.
Salary range: $38,000 - $43,000, plus benefits
