THE CITIZEN, WEDNESDAY, MAY 7, 2003. PAGE 23. Entertainment Leisure Bill Hilly Band comes to Bluewater Playhouse Touted as an acoustical explosion, the Bluewater Summer Playhouse will present The Bill Hilly Band, May 21. Formed in 1996, the group of five musicians from Canada’s west coast combine an eclectic mix of styles ranging from tunes with European and Latin American flavours to music from coast to coast in North America. Not only do the Bill Hillys present a sophisticated, yet down-home style, they also bring choreo graphed, on-stage antics to the show such as a mandolin solo with a can delabra. Two-fiddle flights, exotic banjos, vocal renderings and foot stomping tunes fill out the perform ance. The May 21 show at the Aztec begins at 8 p.m. Tickets can be reserved by calling the Bluewater Summer Playhouse at 396-5722 or purchased at the Photo Shop in Kincardine.
