Contest!!!
Until March 26, readers will have a chance to vote
seven castaways out of our Survivor Contest. The
Survivor will win $500. for the charity or
community betterment project of his or her choice.
Each week, readers are invited to vote off one of
the castaways, using the ballot shown here.
Ballots may be dropped off at any of the
advertisers listed on these two pages. Every
Monday at noon, those ballots will be collected
and counted by the Tribal Council at The Citizen.
The castaway voted off will be announced in the
following Wednesday's paper.
Each week our survivors will be required to
complete a number of challenges. Over the next
two months, look to these pages to find out how
they're succeeding.

Why is your charity or community
betterment project such an important
one to you? I benefited tremendously
from minor hockey and my kids are now
involved. The Tykes program introduces kids
to the skills, rules and fun involved, and plays
a positive role in determining whether they will
pursue hockey further.
What is your favourite snow sport? SnowmobUing and Jamaican
bobsledding.
If you had to spend the winter in a deserted cabin in Huron County's
snowbelt and you could have one person with you, who would it be and
why? Refer to my answer in last week's paper, plus my wife Rosie, and
Mary Dickson to keep me entertained.
What's your favourite kind of ice cream? Rolo
What is your favourite movie and why? The Fast and the Furious because
of the cars and speed.

lucky towns.

shovelling - we've been doing it so much this
winter, I'm sure it's became a sport.
If you had to spend the winter in a decetlea cabin in Huron County's
snowbelt and you could have one person with you, who would it be and
why? Any one of the fellows at the Grand View "Big Table", then they
can bring me coffee.
What’s your favourite kind of ice cream? / wouldn't know. My son eats it
before I have a chance.
What is your favourite movie and why? Old Yeller - every time I see it,
even years later, I still cry and cry and cry. (That's very good to cleanse
those ducts!!!)
