PAGE 7 2 arrested in West Wawanosh drug bust On Feb. 4 Huron OPP officers, along with members of the London Drug Enforcement Section and Western Region ERT team, executed a search warrant at a residence on Amberley Road in Ashfield- Colbome-Wawanosh (West Wawa- nosh Twp.) During the search police seized 79 marijuana plants, and a quantity of processed marijuana with a total value of approximately $5,827 as well as $2,300 worth of drug­ growing equipment. Also seized during the search was a stolen ATV, with an estimated value of $4,000 and three firearms. Police have charged both a 17- year-old young offender, and a 46- year-old Ashfield-Colborne- Wawanosh (West Wawanosh) man with production of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and three counts of unsafe storage of a firearm.
