The congregation of Duff's
United were greeted by Pat Gillis

provided by Glenda Morrison at the

opening was followed by more
musical talent provided by Graeme
Craig on guitar, Marie McGavin on
piano and Phyllis playing a
wonderful trio of Christmas songs.
Being as this was the First Sunday
of Advent the lighting of the Advent
wreath was done by Jackie and
JoeIle Glanville. The scripture
reading was done by Dianne
McCallum.
Joan Tuchlinsky's reflection was
on hope.
While the offering was taken by
Don Baan and Bria;Wilbee, Glenda
and Phyllis played Christmas music.
The congregation sang Happy
Birthday to Joan.

The sanctuary was beautifully
decorated for Christmas by Marie
McGavin, Gloria Wilbee and Heidi
McClure.
About 10 women of the WUCC
enjoyed the Ladies Day Out. They
travelled to Teeswater to tour a

an enjoyable'and interesting tour.

Riverboat Restaurant for a delicious
meal and came home in the not-so-
nice weather.
The Walton Little School's pre-
school class has been enjoying
decorating The Giving Tree and the
classroom for Christmas.
There was lots of excitement
about participating in both the
Seaforth and Brussels Santa Claus
parades.
They have been busy learning
Christmas carols and reading many
stories.
The children have been reading to
each other as well as having
individual reading instruc-
tions.
The toddler class spent the past
week working on the colours brown,
black and blue. They created
collages painted at the easel and
made their own Bear book.
The toddlers enjoyed reading
Catch the Ball by Eric Carle.
The One Stop Shop and Silent
Auction held on Saturday at the
BM&G Community Centre for the
Walton Little School was weir
